I don’t completely agree with this quote because, it’s not whether or not the consequences and punishment for the crime are dispersed immediately or even at all. There are people who commit crimes just for the fun, or thrill involved. I don’t feel that the part that society takes in rectifying a situation holds any bearing on the evil that is in the world today. When the authorities do not do anything about evil that is done, I think that just shows how slothful we as a society is about getting involved in affairs that can certainly affect the whole world, young and old. I think it falls on the both, the evil doer and the uninvolved bystander.

ReplyDeleteTo me this quote means our world can and will always be a dangerous place.There are so many issues that happen and everyone may personally have there own opinions about them but they never stand up for what is right. We can all make a change by stating the facts but with everyone scared to do anything about them the world will continue to be what it is.

I think that if we just keep on letting the world go corrupt, and out of control then we're going to have a rude awakening. We should want to make better of the world, from the looks of how the world is today. And, I'm talking about the world's appearance and how the people are of the world. Because, we are in this world but not of this world. We must stand up for what's right, and not all of this commotion and foolishness. ReplyDeleteAlthough we live in a world cluttered with evil, there are many people who aren't involved in those evils. These people have the power to make a change(in the lives of hundres, thousands, perhaps millions). If those people though, don't act on making a difference then the evils of the world will continue to rule lives and everything around them. Linden Jackson
ReplyDeleteThe quote is basically saying that some people in the world are evil but others could do something about. People just sit around and watch something happen but know deep down inside that they could have done something to stop them or help someone else. Those are the same people that can also be blamed to make the world evil and dangerous..

ReplyDeleteThis to means that it isnt so much the people in the world that are doing evil but is the people who see it and dont do anything to stop it. It means that when we allow evil to spread are we just as bad as the ones doing the evil. It means that we all need to do our part to help make our world a safer place. Rather then just allowing evil to spread.

ReplyDeleteI dont agree with that. I feel that the world is the way it is because of the people that is running it, for example the president. The world is not gone change unless you yourslef make a change in it. The people that live in it has nothing to do with it they just living in it. We cant depend on everyone else to do something about it we have to wake up one day and make a change ourselves. So to better the world and all its flaws, better yourself first.

ReplyDeleteThis quote means to me that evil will continue if we don't stand up for what's right. Nowadays when people see other people doing wrong they claim they didn't see anything. If you know whatever someone is doing is wrong,you need to either tell them that they need to stop their violent acts or snitch to someone who can desist their sick act.If we see something and don't do anything we're basically saying that it's ok. We can't just ignore it and let these evil individuals continue their devilish ways or we all suffer in the end.
